This wrap was one of the first things I ever designed and remains a favourite. It was inspired by the colour and shape of a peacock feather. When my daughters were smaller they loved trips to Warwick Castle. They have peacocks that wander through the extensive grounds. My children would spend hours trailing them in the hope that one would drop a feather. We eventually found three…I have them still in my studio.
The wrap is knitted and requires 700m of lace weight yarn. I have knitted this in both fluffy kid mohair and smoother yarns. Both work beautifully.
The pattern is contained within a keepsake folder of double sided, printed card. It fastens with a Velcro closure and has side pockets for notes.
