This ruffled scarf pattern was inspired by one of my favourite occupations…beach combing! It has a zigzag central pattern which reminds me of the ridges of sand newly uncovered by the sea and full of promise. The ruffled edge is added at the end and I was inspired by seaweed and the fun of investigating rock pools.
It requires 400m of lace weight yarn but with all The Lace Knittery Patterns I design them to be interchangeable with other yarns and yarn weights. Just change your needle size to that recommended on the yarn label.
The pattern is in a pretty double sided card folder. This closes with a Velcro fastening and has handy side pockets. It is a unique design by The Lace Knittery…I like to keep my patterns safe!
