    A beautiful yarn from BC Garn. It is a sock weight and is really smooth to use and best of all it’s GOTS certified. This is global organic textile standard and means that the entire production is monitored and certified, guaranteeing animal welfare, fair wages and working conditions, reduction in wastewater and  use of biodegradable dyes.
    Each ball is 50g/160m.

    Recommended needle/hook size is 3-4mm/6-7 US

    Gauge for a 10cm/4 inch square = 22 stitches and 33 rows.

    Fernhill is a farm a few miles away from The Lace Knittery and it is a special place to visit. They farm holistically and organically and have transformed the soil on the farm. The sheep breeds have been selected as most suitable for the environment and they are breed for the quality of their fleece. It is a magical place.

    The yarn is spun into a two ply just over the border in Wales meaning total yarn mileage to The Lace Knittery is kept to a minimum.
    This yarn forms part of The Lace Knittery Natural Selection where we naturally dye in house. The dyes are either foraged locally (often from the garden or outside The Lace Knittery HQ) or ethically sourced. At the end of the dyeing process only clear water is left.

    Each skein is 100g/405m lace weight. It is soft to work with and easy to use.

    We are very proud at The Lace Knittery to be able to stock Krea Deluxe yarn. They are organic, traceable and sustainable and the drift of soft colours is beautiful, restful and timeless. The Organic Wool 1 is a sock/lace weight. It is GOTS certified meaning every part of the production is regulated.

    Each ball is 100% organic merino wool. 50g/145m hand wash. With a recommended needle/hook size of 3mm.
