A great Fair Isle Tam pattern from Simply Shetland. I have knitted and worn their Midnight Sun Tam pattern for the last ten years. It’s super comfortable to wear and was great fun to knit! Requires 10 balls of Spindrift yarn. Yarn pack is available.

A lovely, lively, different book from Laine Publishing. For me it is like a breath of fresh air with usable, fun and adaptable crochet designs for accessories and home. I am slightly in awe of the crocheted jug!

We fell in love with this book at first sight at The Lace Knittery HQ. It is a book of eight varying patterns from beanies to sweaters using Stolen Stitches Nua Sport weight yarn. It is full of colour and cable design.
The original design book by Toft with over 40 animal designs (kits for some available from The Lace Knittery) including a lion, elephant and sheep. A classic and such addictive fun.
Another super book from Kerry Lord of Toft, this a collection of 50 dog breeds. As with all Toft patterns there is great support online and the they can be done in any weight yarn. The Lace Knittery current favourite is Romeo the Schnauzer!
The next book in the original Edward’s Menagerie collection. It is packed full of 50 animals to crochet including a musk ox, otter, zebra and sloth. A firm favourite of The Lace Knittery’s eldest daughter!
